"Hello Haldimand"

My last blog posting was on June 6, 2010. I have just recently signed up with the Dunnville Chronicle and have been encouraged to blog away! Imagine that!

When I started with the Chronicle in early 2009 I decided that I would not blog as I thought that it would not be wise to be writing political news and blogging about politics at the same time, well things have changed.

I have so much to blog about I don't know where to start..............

So my thoughts are to start with what happened to me during the final leg of the 2010 Municipal Elections and why I have decided that I will probably not run again.....

    Welcome back Donna! It's great to see you back at the Chronicle, and tending to your blog again. We need someone like you to keep an eye on our new Mayor....six months into a job where he promised change, and we haven't seen any yet. Was the promise of change an empty promise? So far, I'd say yes. Go get him Donna!

    Someone needs to learn how to count. The new councillors were sworn in early December. My count is 3.5 months.

    When I originally commented I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and
    from now on each time a comment is added I receive four emails with the same comment.
    Is there a way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!
