Haldimand "Kudo's to the Regional News and Gary McHale"

Kudos to Chris Pickup, editor/owner and publisher of the Regional News this Week. More on this in a moment.

For those of you that receive regular updates from Caledonia Wake up Call and Gary McHale from Canace, you would have received via email last week Gary’s profound apology to the Regional Newspaper.

This apology came about when Gary McHale spewed his mouth off about the Regional Newspaper "refusing" to print Toby Barrett’s news releases. I looked for this apology in the Regional Newspaper today and it is not there? It is obvious that Chris Pickup owner of that newspaper was not concerned at all about his "accusations" that may have damaged the reputation of her newspaper.

Here is the apology;

February 19, 2009
Apology to Regional News:

Recently I sent out an email that stated the Regional News had refused to print a Press Release from Toby Barrett.

It was an unfortunate choice of words that gave the impression that the Regional News had taken a side against Mr. Barrett and/or his proposed inquiry. This did not reflect the truth in regards to the Regional News. I am well aware that many media receive hundreds of news items per day and they are unable to print all of them.

I do not know the political views of the Regional News, if any, and I understand that items printed by the paper that are written by me are my stated views, and not theirs.

I would like to offer my most sincere apology to the Regional News and to its owner/publisher Chris Pickup, for any harm, embarrassment and/or inconvenience caused by my inappropriate choice of words.
Gary McHale

Chris Pickup’s editorial in the newspaper today explains how she feels about Gary McHale and his cause. Although Chris states that Gary’s opinion is his own; she is supporting his efforts by giving him "free space" in her newspaper. Is this wrong? Not in my opinion, it is her newspaper.
Once again Kudo's to Chris!

She goes on to say that the Regional News this Week "does not pay" McHale for his "columns", and his "viewpoints" are his own. She ends off by saying; "I believe he, and we, deserve to have his voice heard". Once again Kudo’s Chris!

Now as you may know my blog is called "Haldimand’s Unheard Voice". Why, well I felt and still feel sometimes that my voice is not heard. When I write a blog I give others the opportunity to voice their opinions, and that is what most blogs are about, "opinions".

Newspapers have the same thing, called the "editorial page", where you can write a letter to the editor and hope that it is printed. I am sure that newspapers get so many letters each week it would be impossible to publish them all, so the decision of what to print is up to the editor of that paper.

So once again Kudo's to Chris for taking a strong stand on behalf of Gary McHale's views.

In doing this Chris is helping to build Gary McHale's business, Canace. It is no secret that Gary McHale speaks on behalf of Canace. Canace is an "incorporated" business that sells a service and is supported by donations. Canace in turn supports McHale financially. This is a "business".

The Regional Newspaper in the past has published more than one letter to the editor in regards to donations for Gary McHale. With your monthly donation of say $5.00, you become a member of Canace. Gary McHale is not speaking on behalf of himself; he is speaking on behalf of the people that support him financially.

Oh I almost forgot; Kudo's to Gary McHale for your weekly column!

So my question to Chris Pickup is what about all of the advertisers that keep your paper in circulation? They all "sell a service" of one kind or the other. Will you now afford them all free space in your newspaper?

  1. Wow Donna!!!! Do you remember a few years ago when I helped you raise awareness and garner the support of the citizens of Haldimand to stop the sale of Haldimand County Hydro? It seems to me that one of the first things we did was to take out an ad in the Regional News to make people aware of the proposed sale and of the fact that we were starting to circulate a petition to stop it. I don't remember exactly what that ad cost but it seems to me it was somewhere in the $800.00 range and we paid it with donations from supportive citizens. Regardless of the cost, I know it certainly wasn't free and that was a very serious matter concerning the citizens of Haldimand County. I wonder if she didn't then believe as she states about McHale that we deserved to have our voices heard?

  2. I read Chris Pickup's baloney today and almost hurled all over the kitchen table.

Anybody can see the Regional News has become an amateurish vehicle for spewing propaganda by the radical and extremist members of McHale's collection of boring losers and interlopers who scream for attention because their lives are such failures.

If Chris Pickup says she isn't responsible for Gary's extremist rantings, then how come Gary sued the Sachem because of a native woman's letter to the editor ? Answer that Chris!

And I agree Donna. Why is Chris Pickup allowing Gary to basically run an imfommercial every week for free? How can she charge her other clients so much? She must really love Gary's stance against natives is my guess. Same as that lousy amateur reporter Bill Jackson.

The Regional News is an anti-native propaganda machine now and nothing else. They should lose their publishing license if there is such a thing.

It's only useful as a bird cage liner now.

  4. It takes all kinds doesn't it. At least the newspaper has admitted that they like Gary and they feel that we need to listen and read his articles. I think I will do the same as a previous poster Donna, I will call ask that the paper is not delivered to my home anymore. So for the companies that advertise in their paper, well I won't be reading your ads anymore! Waste of money!

  5. Gary writes one thing and does another. He writes about freedoms, yet when someone doesn't agree with his point of view he calls you a liar. Gary does not know how to debate, he only knows how to draw people under his wings. He has obviously got Chris under his spell. I know of one person who advertises in her paper and after today she is done with them!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi Donna, is it possible for you to scan that editorial and post it? I'm sure everyone would like to read it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. "Gary does not know how to debate, he only knows how to draw people under his wings."

I see he's trying to do that very thing to Ken Hewitt now.

He's a piece of work, that's for sure.

    or he sues them

  9. Has anyone read today's edition?

It's mind-boggling the amount of press that McHale and his troupe of idiots get !! And then the rest is filled with mindless dribble from Chris Pickup and Bill Jackson covering their legal asses in case the authorities swoop in and shut that rag down for good.

I've seen white supremecist magazines and publications before and this newspaper, if you can call it that, seems awfully familiar.

    It's getting out of control.

Is there a publication licensing body that governs so called acredited media? If so, they need to be contacted so they can investigate what's going on here.

This crap shouldn't be allowed to be put into people's mailboxes without their permission.

    ReplyDelete
  10. and here is a sample of the racist comments McHale has on his website forum.

why isn't McHale ever investigated for this? I can't believe people (less andless now) blindly follow him like sheep !!

Maybe the builder should drop off some JOB applications to the indians. I`m sure that would make them scatter. They obviously have to much time on their hands, oh yea , we give them money for nothing !!
Looks like we`re giving the opp the same thing , money for NOTHING !!

    No surprises here folks .

  11. Thanks for your comments everyone.

The Regional is not an online newspaper Mark Alan, therefore in order for me to put the editoral by Chris here I would have to type it verbatim. If someone wants to do that make yourself welcome.

I don't think that anything is out of control.

We all have control over what we read and what we believe. As I stated this newspaper is Chris's paper and if she feels the need to do what she is doing then that is her own business.

But if and when this relationship becomes stale and the Regional Newspaper has suffered because of what they are doing, it is their own business.

So one has to ask themselves whether this is a newspaper or not. Haldimand County pays a bundle of money each week just for their space, and that comes from our tax dollars!

Just do a comparision with another local paper, are they publishing the same kind of shit?

AS far as the Haldimand County Hydro, yes you are right we paid $750.00 for that ad and it was at a discounted price. The Regional barely covered this whole issue, where the Dunnville Chroncile had this issue featured on the front page for I believe 10 weeks. The Chroncile did a great job!

    ReplyDelete
  12. I agree Donna. The Chronicle is a good , responsible paper and so is the Sachem.

Neither of them stoop to the low levels the Regional is going to the past while.

The print news. Not unadultered propaganda.

  13. Legislation for Caledonia inquiry passes first reading
    Simcoe Reformer - Feb 25, 2009

This past week brought the ongoing three years of Haldimand and Brantford area land disputes to the forefront at Queen's Park.

Wednesday, I introduced a Private Members Bill titled, "Truth about Caledonia Act, 2009." This proposed legislation calls for an inquiry "into the administration of justice, law enforcement and the ownership of land within the former Haldimand Tract and nearby areas."

In spite of Dalton McGuinty's public opposition to the bill last Wednesday, it passed first reading several hours later. Debate on second reading is scheduled for March 12.

Of course in the world of politics, things rarely go entirely as planned.

On Tuesday -- the day before -- I was given agenda time to explain the bill to MPP colleagues at Queen's Park. However, MPPs had already received information opposing the bill from a group purporting to represent the views of Caledonia and Haldimand. Meanwhile, back in Simcoe the group of seven or so picketed my office. The following day, the group, now numbering four, arrived outside Queen's Park.

Despite this opposition to the bill, the majority feedback I continue to receive asks for all concerned to stay the course.

This is not the first call for an inquiry and it won't be the last.

This legislation builds on an Opposition motion of two and a half years ago -- actually passed by the Legislature -- calling for an inquiry that would, "inquire into and report on how absence of communication and lack of leadership by Premier McGuinty and his Liberal government allowed the Caledonia situation to escalate to a full-blown standoff and subsequently a public security crisis."

The bill also emanates from dozens and dozens of questions raised in the Legislature, and in Committee. It builds on the Haldimand Proclamation submitted a year ago to Haldimand Council; a petition I drafted to hold public hearings; and a resolution drafted to restore policing to the 6th Line and to Douglas Creek Estates. The bill is also triggered by Ken Hewitt's police inquiry petition -- part two of which I publicly signed January 11 -- that will be delivered to Queen's Park this spring.

I have sent drafts of this legislation to a 400 plus e-mail list -- several times over -- and have communicated with a number of lawyers. There's been lots of input and help on this bill -- and I sincerely thank everyone for their suggestions.

However, three years of government inaction has created factions, varying opinions, and some hard feelings in Caledonia and area. I feel these requests for a public inquiry, and the long sought-after answers a public inquiry would provide, will go a long way to mending the fences that have been built up since Feb. 28, 2006.

This inquiry will make, "recommendations directed to the prevention of attempts of intimidation, and related activities, in similar circumstances." To bow down to what I consider attempts of intimidation from Mr. McGuinty -- or anyone else at this point -- and put the brakes on the, "Truth about Caledonia Act, 2009" would be hypocritical at best, and an affront to the democratic process.

I look forward to a full and thorough debate of this proposed legislation on March 12, and look forward to a very large assembly at Queen's Park later on this spring for Ken Hewitt's petition demanding a police inquiry.

  14. Editorial by Chris Pickup

I have had a couple of phone calls from people wanting to know why we are publishing articles written by the devil incarnate, Gary McHale. I wondered myself about McHale before I met him and found a pleasant, intelligent man with some strong views on law and order and the even-handed practice thereof, and not at all the rabid activist OPP chief Julian Fantino has painted him. I believe he has some things to say that speak to all of us. The Regional News This Week does not pay McHale for his columns, and his viewpoints are his own.

McHale believes, as do some 7,000 people from this community who signed Jen Hewitt’s petition for an enquiry into the OPP and in particular Julian Fantino, that police shouldn’t be standing around with their hands in their pockets while native assault an elderly couple, two TV cameramen and our own reporter Bill Jackson, all for the crime of taking photographs, and wait to charge then after the fact. Ignoring violence while it is happening just encourages more violence. Witness what happened to Dava Chatwell and Dave Brown’s family during the past three years. Witness what happened to developer Joe Gualtieri, who nearly died and will probably never recover to his full potential.

How many of us were furious about the unlawful smoke shack set up right off the main street in Caledonia, selling cigarettes to minors. McHale was assaulted by a native while protesting that smoke shack and apparently his just being there set up such a fury in Fantino that he sent out an email exhorting his colleagues to find something, anything, to charge McHale with. The ridiculous charge finally drummed up was counseling to commit mischief not committed, and resulted in mcHale being banned from the community. Meanwhile Fantino gave a glowing character reference in court to that same native indicating McHale was responsible for his own assault.

This is dangerous stuff. Just who is telling police, sworn to serve and protect, not to do their job? Are any of us safe?

Meanwhile, McHale is now wending his lonely way, via a write of mandamus, through the court system to try and make someone accountable for how the police, and certain justice officials, have behaved. I believe he, and we, deserve to have his voice heard.

  15. I see Donna that your board is spewing out more of it's hate. People are even trying to suggest that the Regional News is just like a White Supremacist publication.

I notice you didn't remove this crap from your board. We shouldn’t be surprise that your board has turned out like this.

I will be sure to send Chris Pickup a copy of your board so she knew how to respond when you and your anti-McHale friends attempt to intimidate her.

    ReplyDelete
  16. How did I know that my post would draw your unfounded criticism. That's why you stand alone. You can't stand not being the center of attention can you ?

    ReplyDelete
  17. What hate are you talking about ? The truth is not hate, but maybe you just hate the truth about your free editorial babblings.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The same comments found here have been posted over and over in the past 3 years against anyone who spoke out in Caledonia. The same few people attempting to discredit anyone in Caledonia. Remember the signs at DCE claiming Hewitt and Trainer were racists or the sign about Kevin Clark.

The problem is Donna believes somehow anti-McHale posts mean support for Donna. It is the same 2 dozen people who spew out the same crap over and over.

Hey Donna, how many people are you going to lose by allowing people to compare the Regional to white supremacists?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I only see where it says 'SUPREMACIST NEWS'. Where is this 'white supremacists' thing written?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I recall Dave Brown not too long ago doing an interview with the Teka that re-assured natives that he wants nothing to do with McHale and (quote) "will kick his fat ass if he comes onto his property again"

And he also directed the OPP to arrest and charge McHale if he does.

Toby Barrett also spoke publicly about McHale trying to intimidate him by means of a letter or e-mail last February.

So Chris Pickup's love affair with McHale is niot shared by many others.

And, no, CANACE doe not speak for Haldimand. They apparantly only speak for 8 people and by the numbers at Queens Park at McHale's stupid rally last week, it's down to 4.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I had to laugh when Gary's lead water-boy, Merlyn Kinrade was whining in the Regional ews complaining that nobody in Caledonia would talk to him anymore and the calls for work have stopped.

    Wonder why Merlyn?

Look at the company you keep!

You clowns are laughed at by your fellow citizens, in reality. And Chris Pickup and Bill Jackson are being laughed at too now for falling under the spell of that smooth-talking bag of hot air.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Is what Gary and the Regional are doing to Toby Barrett not terrorism? I think so.

I see the Regional got their own immature shot in at Toby at the top header of the Letters to the Editor.

    Very childish!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I forgot to add that even though it was part of a longer letter, it looks suspicious how they placed the opening sentence.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Now Donna's board is claiming McHale and Pickup have committed illegal acts - terrorism.

What is next Donna - a call for violence against McHale and the Newspaper?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Very childish indeed! Donna Pitcher is very very childish for allowing this blog to be taken over by extremists whos only goal is to smear and babble about McHale.

The whole supremacist argument grew tiring 2 years ago Donna, much as your blog is now.

    ReplyDelete
  26. What is next Donna - a call for violence against McHale and the Newspaper?

What's next is likely whatever it takes for Donna to try to draw our attention away from the lies of Toby Barrett

    ReplyDelete
  27. I hope the Regional, McHale and company sue Pitcher's ass for allowing posters to falsely link them to white supremcists and terrorism.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I've really tried to listen to and understand all viewpoints in this debacle over the past years including yours Donna, but you've reached a point now where you are so obviously fueled by nothing but an intense hatred for CANACE that any valid points you used to make have been lost in the flames of your own rage.

Therefore I won't be reading your site any further after tonight and please be assured that as a resident, you do not speak for me. Your judgement has become far too clouded.

    ReplyDelete
  29. "I hope the Regional, McHale and company sue Pitcher's ass for allowing posters to falsely link them to white supremcists and terrorism."

Funny, I was just about to say the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Looks to me that Fantino, McGuinty, native terrorists and Picher have a lot in comon.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Now that McGuinty cannot use Fantino to attack Mchale, maybe Donna can call up Mcguinty and offer him her service as the new leader to attack Mchale.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Why do you feel the need to tear down a good man who has accomplished so much and sacrificed so much for us - even when people (like you, unfortunately) have tried to glorify themselves at his expence.

My guess is that McHale's accomplishments make his critics uncomfortable because they/you refuse to risk anything at all to make a difference.

Anyways, sounds though you're in bed with the native thugs now, so I ain't coming back here to read this trash again.

Sorry, Donna, but you're part of the problem not the solution.

    ReplyDelete
  33. This post has reached an all time low.
How many people have to be trampled on before you Donna have your anger appeased??????
Considering how all this really started, I am amazed at the hatred and vitrole displayed on this site. This is indeed sad for all of Haldimand. This issues are so much worse than they have ever been and yet all these people waste their time running each other down. Nothing will ever get better with type of crap going back and forth. God help you.

    ReplyDelete
  34. As far as i know Mchale had to pay big bucks for his campaign ads in the Regional so stop pretending there's a double standard favouring mchale.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I edited and reposted the following;

Do you people recall last weeks weekly 'REGIONAL ...........NEWS' edition and Gary's outpouring of emails that claimed he represented the people of Haldimand. Gary had even claimed winning the election in Caledonia. Hmmm! I wasn't aware that Caledonia was even a riding in the federal election. What an idiot! Actually, I thought he ran in the Haldimand/Norfolk riding and lost to Finley. Anyways,in the past week, Gary's followers [too many to count on one foot] blitzed me and others with emails criticizing my comments where I was denouncing that Canace and McHale's Army of fools did not in any way represented the majority of people of Haldimand,.... however, in this weeks Regional, Merlyn ramps it all down a little...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Who said anything about Gary's campaign ads ? Are you suggesting that the Regional also sponsored Gary's federal elections campaign with free babble ads.

    ReplyDelete
  37. To answer the following poster;

I see Donna that your board is spewing out more of it's hate. People are even trying to suggest that the Regional News is just like a ........ publication.

I notice you didn't remove this crap from your board. We shouldn’t be surprise that your board has turned out like this.

I will be sure to send Chris Pickup a copy of your board so she knew how to respond when you and your anti-McHale friends attempt to intimidate her.

I have already sent Chris Pickup my blog as I always do.

There is no "spewing" of hate here. Just because people are posting their opinions that do not agree with some, does not make it hateful.

I do not sit and babysit my blog, so I am going to try and answer some questions one at a time.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sounds like some comments on here are from the Police. (see Feb25 4:49) They write:

I've seen white supremecist magazines and publications before and this newspaper, if you can call it that, seems awfully familiar.

If you have read this kind of stuff, then it's probably contraband from the Detachment, or from their own collection.
It seems the same type of writer is trying to slander the Regional News.

  41. Thanks for the comments eveyone.

I do need to say that some of the comments on this blog are a little far fetched. I would think that maybe some need to re-read my blog!

My blog post is "Kudo's to the Regional News and Gary McHale". Where does it say anywhere in this blog that I hate Gary McHale or that I am putting down the Regional Newspaper. Does "Kudo's not mean "good for you?".

What my point was is that Gary McHale speaks on behalf of Canace and the people that support him financially. I am only stating the facts.

Therefore I asked this question; So my question to Chris Pickup is what about all of the advertisers that keep your paper in circulation? They all "sell a service" of one kind or the other. Will you now afford them all free space in your newspaper?

It is a fact that there is always risk in allowing people to freely post as I do on my blog. But isn't this what freedom of speech is all about? The only thing that I ask my posters is to post in a respectful way, and if in my personal opinion I feel that a post needs to be deleted I will do that.

So for some maybe they have it a bit mixed up about what freedom of speech means.

If someone does not agree with your view or your opinions does this give them the right to say you have no right to your opinion?

There is no "hatred" on this site, only personal opinions. If I find someone "spewing" hatred on my blog it is deleted.

  43. What is this called?

    Editorial by Chris Pickup

I have had a couple of phone calls from people wanting to know why we are publishing articles written by the "devil incarnate", Gary McHale.

Is this not slander on the part of the Regional News? Or is this okay because they are letting McHale have a free column? Funny how it's okay for some to spew shit isn't it! If this was another newspaper in Haldimand that the editor call McHale a "Devil incarnate", there would be an immediate law suit!

    ReplyDelete
  44. If the regional is getting so many calls from the real residents of Haldimand County, then maybe Chris should realize that McHale has her under his spell.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Maybe the builder should drop off some JOB applications to the indians. I`m sure that would make them scatter. They obviously have to much time on their hands, oh yea , we give them money for nothing !!

I checked this out. Wow, now this is racist. And who's site is it on? McHales!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Donna do not be intimidated by people who do not agree with your opinions. This was a great post, and yes Kudo's does mean good for you.

There is no hatred here, there is however a difference of opinions.

We do need to be careful as to how we accuse people. There is a big difference between peoples opinions and spreading propaganda and lies.

You don't need to worry about being sued either. There is no libel slander here, only opinions as you so nicely remind us of.

Now if someone was to call me a devil incarnate well I might ponder that one!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Donna are you not feeding into this frenzy? Why bother even posting anything about McHale. It looks like there are some that are waiting for you to react and post, then they pounce on you with accusations that are not true?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Donna this was a very good blog. You hit a nerve with a few people and their reaction was to defend McHale. It is noble that we defend the people we believe in, it is not noble to make false accusations about the people we disagree with.

No one is being forced to read your blog, McHales column or the Regional Newspaper.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I agree with Donna. These are just people's strong opinions on the matter of the Regional, McHale and CANACE (his followers) All 4 of them.

I read the Regional each week for the sole purpose to collect and save them as evidence that this newspaper spews hatred, or allows other to spew hatred.

Even Merlyn Kinrade is allowed to bash other letter writers and Caledonia residents in general for not blindly supporting his master. (McHale)

If anyone deserves to be sued, it's McHale's viscious attack on Toby Barrett and others. And the Regional News for allowing it in their publication.

    ReplyDelete
  50. McHale and for that matter, The Regional, both have control of their own publications or websites or message boards.

The messages they allow are exteme to say the least and they tightly guard against anyone else disrupting their message.

And now that someone allows a equal voice to challenge their ideas and methods, they get all defensive and scream injustice?

The Regional News and McHale and his 4 followers in CANACA should be ashamed of themselves.

By the way, I looked back on the posts and nobody called anyone a White Supremecist. All they did was compare some of the writings and it reminded them of white supremecists publish.

    Nothing wrong with drawing comparisons.

McHale likes to draw comparisons between himself and Martin Luther King right?

So others should get to draw their own comparisons to other groups or people.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Good point!

I also didn't see anyone specifically call anyone a white supremecist.

Also, the Regional and McHale love calling anyone who doesn't agree with them, a terrorist.

The only mention in here of a terrorist was someone asking if the attacks on Toby Barrett could be considered a form of terrorism. (obviouly meaning "emotional terrorism")

Now we can see how McHale and CANACE like to twist people's words or their own benefit.

They hold weak ideas and positions so this is the only way they can appear legitimate.

    Manipulation.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thanks for your comments eveyone.

I am not in fear of being sued by anyone for what I have posted here.

It is not easy to sue someone for libel/slander. I know I sued the Regional Newspaper in small claims court and won my case. It was not easy as the judge stated that I chose to put myself in the public light when I ran for council and wrote a few letters to the editor. I won't go into detail as I already wrote a blog about that case.

So in saying that I hope that people understand that some will put the fear of god into others with threats of law suits if they speak out. Do not be fearful of this. The Regional News and Gary McHale are in the public light, therefore it would be very difficult.

Actually I was surprised that Chris called McHale a devil incarnate. I have never heard McHale be called that! Do not follow her lead on that one please. If someone here called McHale that I would delete it right away. But seeing that she owns her own paper, she can say what she pleases.

  53. It is amazing how if anyone posts on here anything that supports Mchale or questions Donna then suddenly these posts must be from Mchale or CANACE. I recall a post from Beth on the previous thread and a letter in the newspaper from another woman about this board. Do Donna and everyone else here truly believe Mchale only has 4 or 8 people supporting him? Of course, we all know people like timmer, granny etc. would never come on this board and post.

If it is wrong for anyone to claim Mchale is the 'devil incarnate' then how is it okay to compare him to 'white supremacists' and claim he has committed 'terrorism'. Maybe Donna could explain how comparing people to ‘white supremacists’ is not libel/slander.

  54. "Actually I was surprised that Chris called McHale a devil incarnate."

Chris never called McHale a 'devil incarnate'. She implied that those who phone her believe McHale is the 'devil incarnate' and more important put the blame for the negative image of McHale squarely at Fantino's doorstep. Chris then corrected the false statements people make about McHale.

Maybe Donna you should read Chris' editorial again.

How many times has McHale used these terms the past 3 years as a way to intimidate people?

Gary you need a new storybook to use as a reference guide.

I think mcHale is just mad that nobody pays attention to him anymore and Hewitt and Barrett have stolen the limelight. Even the main stream media seems to have a consensus on Gary McHale. Which is to never mention him anymore. He's yesterday's news and is boring at that.

Isn't this thread about the fact that Chris did an editorial about Mchale and Mchale as a weekly column? Isn't Donna and others whining because Mchale continues to get more attention then they do?

"How many times has McHale used these terms the past 3 years as a way to intimidate people?"

Donna, like each of the other board owners, claimed they were not accountable for what others post and that it is not liable/slander. Each of these owners, after appearing in court, suddenly do not allow anyone to post anything about Mchale. Maybe the judges didn't agree with them.

I recall ....... and ...... claiming Mchale was a public figure and they couldn’t babysit their boards – sounds like the same statement Donna has made above.
